چکیده

Gas hydrate (GH) is widely distributed in the world according to geological survey. Most of GH located ocean. After dissociation, strength gas bearing sediments (GHBS) decreases accompanying rise pore pressure, which can cause marine landslide. Landslide may transform into mudflows during movement on seabed. The massive submarine mudflow result serious deformation (or even damage of) pipelines, dumping offshore platforms, and tsunamis. In this paper, flow characteristics large-scale are investigated based Euler-Euler multiphase model combining with kinetic theory granular (KTGF). controlling dimensionless parameters, such as initial depositional form relative depth, given. hydroplaning frontal detachment mass captured. front velocity mudflow, free surface elevations at sea level analyzed. numerical results show that has a significant impact level. should be taken consideration design pipelines platforms GH-distributed area duo its great destructive power.

Large Scale Numerical Simulation for Superfluid Turbulence

Large scale numerical simulation of quantum turbulence is performed by using 3-D time-dependent Gross-Pitaevskii equation. The energy spectrum obeying Kolmogorov law and large scale self-similar structure of quantum vortex tangle are found in a fully developed dumped turbulent state. Width of the inertial range becomes large depending on the system size of the simulation that is consistent with...

Scale invariant characteristics of the Storegga Slide and implications for large-scale submarine mass movements

This study documents the fractal characteristics of submarine mass movement statistics and morphology within the Storegga Slide. Geomorphometric mapping is used to identify one hundred and fifteen mass movements from within the Storegga Slide scar and to extract morphological information about their headwalls. Analyses of this morphological information reveal the occurrence of spatial scale inv...

Numerical Simulation of Internal Flow in a Large-scale Pressure-swirl Atomizer

This work is a continuation of experimental and computational studies of the internal flow field of a large-scale Danfoss atomizer presented at an earlier ILASS conference [1,2]. Fluent 6.1 is used to simulate the flow through the large-scale atomizer. The two-phase flow is modeled using three approaches: 1) a volume of fluid (VOF) method using a laminar flow assumption, 2) a VOF method using l...
